As organisations that share His Majesty’s commitment to environmental stewardship and good practice, we pledge to embrace circular solutions and work together to make reuse a reflex across the UK.

By signing the Pledge, we undertake to:

Commit: Make a commitment today to embrace circular practices of re-use, remanufacturing and recycling.
Plan: Develop an action plan, defining the changes to be made, whether through design, procurement, process, or product/material reclamation, and set measurable goals to evaluate progress. (Within six months of commitment).
Partner: Identify external partners needed to support the action plan and ensure it is deliverable. Educate our internal stakeholders so the purpose of the plan is widely understood.
Act: Take action to implement the plan, increasing circularity focused practices within day-to-day operations in a manner that is sustainable and drives behaviour change for the long term.
Share: Promote the action we have taken to inspire others and help drive change nationwide and to share quantifiable impact, if able. (Within a year of signing the pledge).

Pledge:

We, the undersigned, recognise that achieving a truly circular economy requires a collective effort across the entire value chain.

By fostering collaboration and leveraging existing innovative practices, we can transition from traditional linear approaches into circular systems, minimising waste, and maximising resource utility.

By making this commitment, we will contribute to a more efficient and sustainable local economy, reduce waste, and enhance the social impact of our operations.
